Hello
and welcome to my home page! My name is Amelia Freeman. I am currently
a freshman at the University of Georgia.
My major is still undecided, but it will eventually be something in the
Business school. I was born at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia
on March 14, 1983. I am the youngest of four children; I have one brother,
Barry, and two sisters, Emily and Katie. Emily was recently married, so
I now have a new brother in-law, James. We were all very lucky to be blessed
with such great parents, Nancy and Dick, who have made many sacrifices
over the years in order for us to be successful. They have worked so hard
for us to be able to get a good education and have provided us all with
a loving environment to grow up in. My family is very close and we love
to spend time together when we are all at home. I attended three schools
before coming to UGA: Spalding Drive Elementary, Holy
Innocents' Episcopal School, and Marist
High School. I had many great times at Marist and made many friends
which I will have forever. Although we all attend different colleges, my
friends and I mean so much to each other and we talk a couple times a week.
I have made some great new friends at UGA, most who either live on my hall
in Brumby or are in my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. During Junior and Senior
years of high school, I waitressed at a breakfast and brunch restaurant
named J. Christopher's. I miss having the time to work and have extra money.
I absolutely love living in Athens, but I do love to travel an hour down
316 to go home and visit my friends and family.
